Fall 2020 Fundraising

Campaign

  • "Lale" and her young family are making huge strides - all three children are in now childcare, and she is taking computer classes five days a week.

  • "Fahim", a business man from sub-Saharan Africa, continues to be safely housed, and is expecting his work authorization any day.

  • "Ama" and her family are close to moving into an apartment in Lowell.

  • "Ram" one of our first guests, is now working full-time in a Boston hospital, and living in Medford.

Our entirely volunteer-based organization continues to serve numerous households, and we are planning to extend our support to additional individuals in need in 2020. We remain one of the few LGBTQ-friendly local refugee support groups.

The Annual Giving Campaign is our primary fundraising event of the year.  Your support is critical to enabling our volunteers to continue to provide desperately

needed services, including safe housing, food, clothing, medical assistance, vocational training, and much more.

  • $25 lets us cover a guest's transportation to and from work for a week.

  • $50 allows us to buy a pair of winter boots for one of our guests.

  • $300 can provide one month of expenses for a hosted guest, including food and transportation.

We encourage you to consider a recurring donation to help us ensure continued support for current programs. Every contribution makes a difference in our ability to continue to support our clients.

Questions about your donation?  Contact us and we will be pleased to respond.

Since we began in 2016, our volunteers and generous supporters have enabled ArCS Cluster to serve 30 refugees in need.  Here are just a few recent success stories:
